Over fifteen years, she mastered ballet, jazz, tap, modern, musical theatre, and acting, swiftly transitioning to a professional career in performance and choreography.

Victor Mariano (BFA), Theatre Instructor

Victor (he/him) is a Vancouver-based theatre artist with a focus on physical theatre and work for young audiences. Recent and favourite stage credits include: Heavy and Light, Learning and Forgetting, Where the Wild Things Are, and Pop! Pop! (Presentation House Theatre), The House and Pooh Corner and The Velveteen Rabbit (Carousel Theatre for Young People), Suddenly Slaughter (The Biting School), and Die Hard: The Musical-ish (District 13 Presents). Since 2008, Vic has taught extensively at Carousel Theatre for Young People, in addition to the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Gateway Academy, and the School for the Contemporary Arts (Simon Fraser University), where he received his BFA in Theatre Performance.

Victor joined us for one week in 2024 to direct the children of Camp Monarch during their final performance. We are thrilled to announce that he will be joining us for the entire two weeks in 2025, much to the excitement of both the kids and staff!
